A Watershed Moment: Better Together

Restoring Lands' Signature Fundraiser Event

In 2025, the Ozaukee Washington Land Trust and River Revitalization Foundation completed a strategic two-year merger to form Restoring Lands: a Wisconsin Land Trust.

On Friday, October 17, 2025, Restoring Lands will host our first, annual, signature fundraising event in support of land conservation and restoration throughout Milwaukee, Ozaukee and Washington counties. A Watershed Moment will celebrate our focus on preserving and restoring natural open spaces throughout the watersheds of the Milwaukee River Basin.

Please consider supporting our mission to protect, connect and restore southeast Wisconsin’s vital lands and waters for the benefit of all with an event sponsorship.

Sponsorship support helps cover event costs so that every dollar raised will directly support conservation efforts throughout our service area. Any funds raised above and beyond event costs will be put toward the stewardship of local lands.

By the numbers!  Restoring Lands…

  • Manages 40 preserves that are free and open to the public!

  • Oversees more than 50 conservation easements, which help landowners protect their land from development in perpetuity

  • Protects more than 7,000 acres across Ozaukee, Washington and Milwaukee counties
