OUR PRESERVES
Restoring Lands conserves over 7,000 acres throughout Ozaukee, Washington, and Milwaukee Counties. Over 2,300 of these acres are made available to the public. Visit our preserves for scenic views of Lake Michigan, the Milwaukee River, prairies, wetlands, and woodlands. Please check back here soon for more details about Milwaukee County preserves.
The Ozaukee Washington Land Trust is dedicated to the appreciation and preservation of our area’s natural beauty. Our efforts:

Improve the water quality of lakes, streams, rivers, and wetlands;

Preserve the scenic and open spaces that define our rural landscape.
The Restoring Lands Nature Preserves are for daily outdoor recreational activities from dawn to dusk.
NO OVERNIGHT CAMPING is allowed.

Restoring Lands has partnered with local and state organizations to acquire and preserve properties for conservation, preservation, and public access to the bountiful nature that surrounds us. Visit these areas for scenic views of Lake Michigan, prairies, wetlands, and woodlands.
