About the event

Join land trust staff and volunteers as we remove invasive species on the Beerline Trail, part of the Milwaukee River Greenway trail system. We'll be cutting and treating Buckthorn, removing other Woody invasive species, and other trail maintenance. Possibly seed collecting too. Meet at the RRF office and walk to the Beerline trail with staff.

In doing so, we will protect the diverse community of native flora present on the preserve, and our recently planted trees.

Please dress for the elements and be prepared for hiking off trail. Work gloves are recommended, tools provided.

Location: River Revitalization Foundation, 2134 N Riverboat Rd. Milwaukee, WI 53212

Free street parking along Riverboat Rd.

Group and family-friendly, children under 12 require parental supervision.
